Wireless Technology is simply great, be it Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth or IR. All the three have one thing in common, they are tangle-free, or simply said wire-free. And that is something which is capturing the interest of the people, particularly youth who like to flaunt their modern day gadgets.

But, the trouble arises when you have to recharge the battery of your device, no doubt a standard device specific charger will be at your disposal for the rescue, but if you carry a lot of gadgetry with you like a laptop, mobile phone, GPS, Bluetooth headset, and such others, then keeping a charger for each of these, always with you, is almost impractical.

In simple terms, you will be carrying more luggage as the charging equipment for your devices than the number of devices itself, which does not truly make any sense. We say this, because, we know the solution to this problem which is quite simple.

WildCharge Inc., the innovators for wireless charging technology, which has been providing solutions for wireless charging of mobile electronic devices for the last few years are also have come up with their new product, the Wild Charge Power Disc.

The wild charge power disc is a small disc that can rest on the WildCharger Pad and charges your device and other wild charger enabled surfaces, almost anything that has a rechargeable battery we mean.

“WildCharge technology is making the wire-free power experience a reality for everyone, everywhere. The new PowerDisc furthers this vision by opening the door to wire-free power for literally hundreds of devices,” said Dennis Grant, CEO and chairman of WildCharge.

The WildCharge PowerDisc is part of the WildCharge Reference Design Library, which allows licensing partners to brand the product and add it to their own line-up of product offerings.

Universal Charger : WildCharge PowerDisc

The company claims it is the most effective and versatile solution to date for wire free charging. It does not require you to know any installation tactics.

To charge, just select the correct PowerLink on the WildCharge Charging Pad and connect the other end to the device, and you are done. The Wild Charge Power disc automatically begins to charge your gadget.

WildCharge’s contact module is embedded in the belly of the disc which sends power to your mobile device via the connected PowerLink when it makes electrical contact with the surface of the WildCharger Pad.

The small size of the disc allows a no of devices to charge simulatenously. Each powerdisk comes with seven interchangeable cables for Nokia, Palm, Micro USB, Mini USB, LG, Samsung, and Sony Ericsson.

Power disc is also the first wild charge accessory to work with LG and Samsung phones besides being compatible with a large range of devices like Nokia, Palm, Micro USB, Mini USB, LG and Sony Ericsson. Here is what the creators of the Powerdisc have to say about the scope of their innovation in wire free charging:

The hospitality industry in particular, including hotels, airports, restaurants and convention centers, has taken a significant interest in providing a high-quality, wire-free charging experience to guests, and several companies are currently working with WildCharge to make that interest a reality in the very near future.

If you thought that each battery required different amount of power to charge and using the Wild Charge would probably spoil your battery life or would definitely blow up your device, unintentionally, then you must know that Wild charge technology meets the industry most stringent and regulatory standards, including UL, CE, FCC, RoHS and has been certified across all the GSM brands to counter this risk.

If you are a lot into travelling or carry a lot of rechargeable electronic stuff with you, then buying the PowerDisc would definitely would be a good deal. Click here to buy it for $19.99 per piece or click here to the Wild Charge Pad Bundle for $64.99.

What does the future hold for mobile chargers? Ever thought of it? Let’s see… A company named WildCharge was formed in 2005 to commercialize a unique wire-free electric power technology used to charge and power mobile consumer electronic devices.

This company has come up with a next generation universal mobile and electronics charger which can charge multiple mobiles or devices simultaneously, if that was not enough then it charges these mobiles wirelessly. This charger comes in a form of a pad more like a mouse pad. All it takes to charge a mobile is to keep the mobile on this pad.

Company calls it wire-free however the device needs to be plugged in for power. I think we can trade in multiple chargers and wires for just one, it sounds like a good deal to me. The price of this product has not been announced yet but is expected to priced between $40 to $100 and will be available in the markets early next year.
