Twitter has become the new, unique and effortless form of self-expression which in online terminology means “user generated content”.

The one who comes up with the brightest idea and uses the available content is the smart one. This is not very new but what’s new here is how online content is starting to entertain the readers offline.

Twitter Wit is a good example of how one can filter and use the available content for a specific purpose which in this case is Humor!

Nick Douglas, founding editor of valleywag.com has put together a book which has a collection of the funniest tweets on Twitter.

I’ve read through a few of the tweets on the book and let me tell you they are indeed funny, it’s just amazing what people come up with in the most bizarre situations in real life.

If you are not one of those who is only interested in raunchy humor then you will like this book for sure..

Following are few tweets from the book..

It’s happened: I have developed real emotions for my iPhone. Actually, it’s no surprise, because I was raised by a TV and a microwave.
-Stuartpaap

I get really uncomfortable when people ask embarrassing questions about sex. Like: “Is that it?”
-nostrich

Made it rain at the club last night. Thought people grab all the money and give it back so you can throw it again. Not how it works I guess.
-azizansari

Why should I be the one to take the kids to see their psychologist? I don’t even love them!
-fireland

Cranked the treadmill up to MAX for 15 minutes. When I finally took a break my roller skates were hot to the touch.
- thepeoplegeek

So that’s the kind of fun that book offers, what do you think? Also, if you think your tweets are on the same lines as above send them toe twitterwit@twittrwit.net to see your tweet in the next edition.

The book is currently available on Amazon for $9.55 its already highly rated but most of the raters are the ones whos Tweets are published in the book

Click here to buy the book.

TweetBook.in is a simple service which lets you download and backup all your tweets in a PDF or an XML format.

The backup optionally includes all the replies made to the account which is being backed-up. Twitter API has a limitation which restricts TweetBook.in to backup up to 6400 latest updates only.

The service is simple and straightforward; enter your twitter ID or any twitter ID for that matter.

Here is what the simple TweetBook looks like..

Just clcik on "Make me my PDF and download the PDF file with your tweets and replies.

This is what the document looks like.. it organizes the tweets according to the date and also has a time stamp next to each update.

TNerd Twitter Backup –

Though the site says "Include Replies" for some reason don’t see any replies for this account. How about you guys?
