I’ll keep this one short.. I tried a lot of other things to run two instances of .. but never thought they were worth mentioning, but this one is absolutely effortless and and does what it is suppose to.

Follow the steps to run two instances of client simultaneously:

  • Locate the existing shortcut or icon (It should be on your desktop or start menu or quick menu).
  • Once located, right click on the icon and click on "properties"
  • In the "Target:" field at the end of the line, leave a space and type /nomutex at the end of the line (look at the image below)
  • Click "OK"

All you have to do is add "im@ibnalerts.com" to your friends list on , thats all. Now whenever you want to know whats happening around the world just send a message "Top" to im@ibnalerts.com and get the latest news delivered at your .

Another option to get the latest news at regular intervals is by subscribing to the news. Message "s top" to im@ibnalerts.com.

It would’nt be wrong if I say that they are setting new standards in media and rest of the news portals are playing the catch up game. top: Gets you all the latest stories from
sports: Gets you all the latest sports stories from
biz: Gets you all the latest business stories from
ent: Gets you all the latest showbiz stories from
search: Search ’s stories (Example: "search Euro 2000")
subscribe: Shows you the ways in which you can subscribe to or manage alerts

Once you add im@ibnalerts.com to your list. Status will continue to show as "invited" but you can start using it rightaway.
