What do you see – A <a href="http://tnerd.com/tag/sports-bike/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with Sports Bike">sports bike</a>? No. It’s a super duper hi-tech <a href="http://tnerd.com/tag/sports-bike/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with Sports Bike">sports bike</a> which has got more substance that almost any other bike you must have ever seen.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">Let me elaborate. If you saw the recent tech flick that boasted a similar yet a decade-advanced technology in the Terminator 4 movie, you’ll have no trouble to believe what we are about to introduce you.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">We are talking about <a href="http://www.mavizen.com/Home.html" target="_blank">Mavizens’s super-advanced motor cycle</a> -  Mavizen TTXO2 Road Racing Series. It’s not the sort of moto-terminators, yet a little close. Mavizen TTX02 is a bike that is not less than a “<a href="http://tnerd.com/tag/laptop-on-wheels/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with Laptop on Wheels">laptop on wheels</a>”.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify"><span id="more-6797"></span>This superbike is the world’s first production vehicle to ship with a powerful computer on its dash board, integrated IP connectivity over Wi-Fi, a core <a href="http://tnerd.com/tag/linux/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with linux">Linux</a> OS and allows USB Based system bus to allow support for most commonly used plug and play devices.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">
<p align="center"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-6796" src="http://tnerd.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/500x_mavizen_motorcycle.jpg" alt="500x_mavizen_motorcycle" width="481" height="327" /><br />
<strong>Featured : Mavizen TTXo2 <a href="http://tnerd.com/tag/sports-bike/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with Sports Bike">Sports Bike</a></strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify">The Mavizen TTX02 is available in multiple configurations available depending on the racing series  and was available for display at the TTX02 at the SEMA Show 2009 in Las VGA.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">This Mavizen’s <a href="http://tnerd.com/tag/sports-bike/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with Sports Bike">sports bike</a> may not fire at Resistance, hunt its target or drive all by itself, but it sure is a hotshot of a bike to drool your eyes over.   After all, we never heard of such any other bike that actually does that. So, let us know when you do.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">Oh yes, if you are bowled over by all this praise for the innovative <a href="http://tnerd.com/tag/mobile-computer/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with Mobile Computer">mobile computer</a> embedded vehicle, you can buy one for yourself at some $41,300, if you really intend to own one of the 50-something limited units of this vehicle.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">Watch the following video to see Mavizen TTX02 in actions.</p>

Talk about making things easier in debian based <a href="http://tnerd.com/tag/linux/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with linux">linux</a> like <a href="http://tnerd.com/tag/ubuntu/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with Ubuntu">Ubuntu</a> and you&#8217;d be glad to know that debian installer, or package manage is the most easiest way to install applications in your favourite Debian based <a href="http://tnerd.com/tag/linux/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with linux">linux</a>. You don&#8217;t need to get yourself invoved in typing those lines of codes in the terminal. All you have to do is to download the debian package for the application you want to install, double click on it and say install. Not that all the applications are available as debian packages, but there are good number of them and the list is growing.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span id="more-1524"></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">You can find the list of deb installable applications at <a href="http://www.getdeb.net/">GetDeb</a>. But what about games on <a href="http://tnerd.com/tag/linux/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with linux">linux</a>. Seriously, I have struggled with playing and installing games when it comes to <a href="http://tnerd.com/tag/linux/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with linux">Linux</a>. Although there are solutions like <a href="http://www.winehq.org/">Wine</a> and <a href="http://www.transgaming.com/">Cedega</a> (to play windows <a href="http://tnerd.com/tag/games-in-linux/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with games in linux">games in linux</a>), but the they have their own drawbacks. Wine gets to complicated to install games and Cedega is properitory (not free) and hence takes away the charm of gaming on <a href="http://tnerd.com/tag/linux/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with linux">Linux</a>. But there are some good games available for <a href="http://tnerd.com/tag/linux/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with linux">Linux</a>. The problem is there was no dedicated platform to get and know about all the games for <a href="http://tnerd.com/tag/linux/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with linux">Linux</a>.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><a href="http://tnerd.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/playdeb1.png" rel="shadowbox[post-1524];player=img;"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-1526 aligncenter" title="playdeb1" src="http://tnerd.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/playdeb1.png" alt="" width="500" height="177" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">This problem was taken seriously and is now being tackled by <a href="http://www.playdeb.net/available_games.html">PlayDeb</a>. Let&#8217;s see what is PlayDeb.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Playdeb is a gaming repository for <a href="http://tnerd.com/tag/ubuntu/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with Ubuntu">Ubuntu</a> &#8211; aimed to provide titles already available on getdeb.net in an easier to install and update format.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Installing PlayDeb is as easy as a walk in the park:</p>
<ol style="text-align: justify;">
<li>Download and install updated <a href="http://www.playdeb.net/apturl_0.2.6-0~getdeb0_all.deb">apturl package</a>.</li>
<li>install the<a href="http://www.playdeb.net/playdeb_0.1-0~getdeb1_all.deb"> playdeb package</a> (if you&#8217;ll get a dialog asking you for confirmation, press Y)
<p>or add this line to System-Administration-Software Sources, Third-Party Software tab:</p>
<p>deb mirror://www.getdeb.net/playdeb-mirror/hardy/// hardy/</li>
</ol>
<p style="text-align: justify;">That&#8217;s all! You have some cool games available for download. You can get them <a href="http://www.playdeb.net/available_games.html">here</a>.</p>

And most of the good tech blogs (I can say the same for TNerd) gives you the best of applications, web services, gadgets and so on. But importantly cover all these services across platforms.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">We love <a href="http://tnerd.com/tag/linux/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with linux">linux</a> (esp <a href="http://tnerd.com/tag/ubuntu/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with Ubuntu">Ubuntu</a>) and we try to cover a lot of aspect of what&#8217;s going on in <a href="http://tnerd.com/tag/linux/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with linux">Linux</a> community. As a result of this we have our machines <a href="http://tnerd.com/tag/dual-booting/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with dual booting">dual booting</a> with both Windows and <a href="http://tnerd.com/tag/ubuntu/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with Ubuntu">Ubuntu</a>. However, when I was a novice and tried my hands on <a href="http://tnerd.com/tag/ubuntu/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with Ubuntu">Ubuntu</a> (If I remember right the version 4), I struggled a lot with the <a href="http://tnerd.com/tag/dual-booting/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with dual booting">dual booting</a> my machine. Things have smoothened a lot post that both in terms of my understanding of the process and the method <a href="http://tnerd.com/tag/ubuntu/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with Ubuntu">Ubuntu</a> adopts to fit into your Windows machine.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span id="more-1433"></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Today, we are going to cover two ways of installing <a href="http://tnerd.com/tag/linux/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with linux">Linux</a> (<a href="http://tnerd.com/tag/ubuntu/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with Ubuntu">Ubuntu</a>) on your windows machine. The first method is pretty standardized and is more traditional. The second method is more recent and is a cake walk with a software called <a href="http://wubi-installer.org/" target="_blank">Wubi</a>.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://tnerd.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/wubi1.png" rel="shadowbox[post-1433];player=img;"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-1435 aligncenter" title="wubi1" src="http://tnerd.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/wubi1.png" alt="" width="500" height="380" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">I mean it can&#8217;t get easier than this using <a href="http://tnerd.com/tag/wubi/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with wubi">Wubi</a>. I have pulled out hand picked videos for both the methods. Let us know what you feel.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Traditional Method</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" width="425" height="344" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0"><param name="src" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/-opSR3YM8KQ&amp;hl=en&amp;fs=1" /><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="344" src="http://www.youtube.com/v/-opSR3YM8KQ&amp;hl=en&amp;fs=1"></embed></object></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Installing using <a href="http://tnerd.com/tag/wubi/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with wubi">Wubi</a></strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" width="425" height="344" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0"><param name="src" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/tjJl3p0-YMs&amp;hl=en&amp;fs=1" /><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="344" src="http://www.youtube.com/v/tjJl3p0-YMs&amp;hl=en&amp;fs=1"></embed></object></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">These are hand picked videos and won&#8217;t take much of your time. Please let us know your experience of using <a href="http://tnerd.com/tag/wubi/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with wubi">Wubi</a> and enjoy the <a href="http://tnerd.com/tag/dual-boot/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with dual boot">dual boot</a>.</p>
