If you follow ’s blog you would have seen the posts team makes from time to time updating users about the progress on this front.

There was a post up last week which basically said we are a step closer. Another post appeared yesterday with a video which shows that the is in total control of the which essentially means iPhone is Unlocked!!.

So what Now? It only goes to show that we are not too far from downloading the unlocking software. Have patience..

The current release of 2.0 only works on MAC so windows users will have to wait for a while. The tools seems to be working a great deal for most users but does come with its crashes and screw-up’s, so good luck with it.

Before you try to use the latest 2.0 for your , know that it does not unlock it just jailbreaks the phone, meaning that you can install third-party software but cannot use it with other networks.
