<p>I&#8217;ll keep this one short.. I tried a lot of other things to run two instances of <a href="http://tnerd.com/tag/gtalk/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with Gtalk">GTalk</a>.. but never thought they were worth mentioning, but this one is absolutely effortless and and does what it is suppose to.</p>
<p><span id="more-1326"></span><strong>Follow the steps to run two instances of <a href="http://tnerd.com/tag/gtalk/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with Gtalk">GTalk</a> client simultaneously:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Locate the existing <a href="http://tnerd.com/tag/gtalk/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with Gtalk">GTalk</a> shortcut or icon (It should be on your desktop or start menu or quick menu).</li>
<li>Once located, right click on the icon and click on &quot;properties&quot;</li>
<li>In the &quot;Target:&quot; field at the end of the line, leave a space and type <strong>/nomutex</strong> at the end of the line (look at the image below)</li>
<li>Click &quot;OK&quot;</li>
