Group Chat is not a new invention in IM clients but does add value to Gtalk. Google Talk is considered to be one of the only IM clients with clean interface. This interface is currently launched on web based IM in Gmail.

Now that this feature is launched on the web interface I don’t think it will take long before it is added to the Client software as well.
