ZenHub, in collaboration with GitHub Enterprise (an open source code repository for companies), has made its previously US and Japan-only project management tools globally available as ZenHub Enterprises.
Immensely popular among engineers, ZenHub, founded by Axiom Zen, is a host service that offers Trello-like drag-and-drop task boards to GitHub account users to manage their work and keep a track of all projects. Now, this service will be made available to GitHub enterprise users, integrating the features of both, thereby opening up a wide range of opportunities and efficient time management. Currently industry giants like NBC, Facebook, Sony, Microsoft are active users.
The new project management tools and services comprises of task boards, burndown charts, velocity tracking as well as native type-independent file upload. The first companies to beta test and try out the new services are Imgur, a photo-sharing community-based service, Ikyu.com, and ICON Health & Fitness. According to the company, the new tools “can save engineers about almost one and a half hours of work every day by helping them to make better use of GitHub’s features.”
The new plan will carry only a 30% charge of what users are already paying for GitHub Enterprise and offer the convenience of a single platform to view all their work without the hassle to switching between the different windows and tools.
