for Android is now officially rolling out to all smart devices of the Android ecosystem. The latest release updates the Google Play Store app for Android devices to version 3.7.15 whilst adding performance enhancements and improvements.

For a refresher, the Google Play app is the default app for accessing a variety of content on the Google Play Store, the official app store for all Android devices. Google Play offers multimedia content, thousands of paid and free Android apps and a plethora of Google services.

Google Play Store app allows users to automatically install or update the existing apps on their Android devices. It makes the downloaded or subscribed content available across all connected devices and is very much responsible for notifying you of any available software updates for apps installed on your Android smartphone or tablet PC.

Nothing much is known about what’s packaged in the update, but our friends over at AndroidPolice report that Sprint users are no longer experiencing any problems while downloading apps over 4G network.

Otherwise, there’s hardly any announced changes that we’ve come to know since the release. But yes, there are performance improvements and bug fixes as usual. So you might want to grab a more stable Google Play app for Android from one of the links we’ve embedded below.

On a side note, Google Play Store is also accessible from the web browser if you are not too lazy to hit the launch icon on the homescreen. The previous update was a more significant release as it brought the ability to purchase multimedia content from inside the app.

So run through the update and let us know if you notice any more meliorations worthy of a mention here.
