Firefox 9 Beta Downloads Now Available For Windows, Mac & Linux!
Just a niggling two days after the Firefox 8 final release went live, Mozilla today released the first beta release of Firefox 9 web browser. The new browser is now available for all developers to download, test and try it.
There’s not much improvements to brag about the new release, but is worth noting that ist comes with the usual wads of performance enhancements and security updates. As for early impressions, something’s reportedly good for Mac OS X Lion users.
However, there are no notable improvements in the visual interface. But for the sake of a new release, you can download Firefox 9 for the platform of your choice from the links we’ve embedded below.
While you avail the download, let’s put forward our quick take on this episode. Assuming we are not the only ones noticing this, we are pretty sure, that Mozilla is quickly and swiftly rolling out newer versions of the Firefox after every few weeks.
Perhaps, it is trying to keep up with the ever-growing popularity of Google Chrome web browser, and quickly race to the point where the pace of Chrome’s growing popularity can be paralled by their browser, which was once (and is now, to an extent) one of the most dominating web browsers in the market.
While the beta release has already been released, we expect the final release to make its way to the consumer masses very soon. While that happens, you may want to click here to know more.
