Even as oh-so-few Android 3.1 tablets have recently cracked out of shell, and are scanty in existence, Huawei is gearing up for the release of the world’s first Android 3.2 tablet.

Huawei announced the company’s first 7-inch Android tablet officially christened as Huawei MediaPad. Now that its runs Android 3.2 OS, you might be wondering about the specific goodnesses of this 3.2 build.

According to Huawei, the MediaPad Android Tablet runs the Honeycomb 3.2 OS which is optimized for 7-inch tablets unlike the 3.1 OS which was specifically seen gracing the tablets with a relatively bigger display.

Besides this, Huawei MediaPad features an IPs capacitive touch display with 217ppi (Pixel per Inch) density, dual cameras – primary camera with a 5 megapixel sensor and the secondary front-facing 1.3 megapixel camera for video calls.

Connectivity options include Bluetooth, WI-Fi, 3G, HSPA+ (14.4Mpbs), a microSD card that adds to the 8GB of onboard storage and a HDMI-out port.

It has a 1.2GHz CPU with dual-processing cores that smoothly manage the device’s operations as you feast on the luxuries of the crisp clear display illuminated by the Android 3.2 OS.

The tablet offers on-the-go social networking connectivity with preloaded apps like Facebook and Twitter. You may also entertain yourself with LetsGolf between the breaks when are viewing office documents using its pre-installed Documents to Go app.

Huawei MediaPad is powerful enough to deliver an engaging experience whether it relates to business, entertainment or just social networking. With HDMI-out support, one can stream digital content to a connected HDTV in up to 1080p.

What more, the Huawei MediaPad is surprisingly loaded with features that we’d otherwise been seeing in bigger tablets with heavier price tags. There’s nary a word on the pricing and availability, but it will ship in the United States in Q3 this year with Flash 10.3 support.

We will keep you posted as more details surface. Stay tuned.
