Nokia E6-00 Leaks Again, Still Leaves Us A Lot To Guess!

Pictures of the as-yet-unannounced Nokia E6-00 has leaked again on the web, this time showing the device is magnanimous black build. Earlier in January, Nokia E6-00 specs were unofficially revealed courtesy of a leaked document.

Subsequently, the first pictures of the device surfaced on the web, but did not seem to draw much attention to the handset. Perhaps, the color of the device or just the fact that it appeared inactive in the leaks can be attributed as one of the reasons for this.

However, considering the specs that were mentioned in the leaked document, we were coerced to extrapolate that Nokia E6-00 will also have a touchscreen interface besides the candybar-laced QWERTY keyboard. And the latest revelation rises only cements these facts.

The earlier leaks revealed that the device boasts a screen-lock button, an 8 megapixel camera sensor, Bluetooth 2.0, Wi-Fi connectivity and a microUSB port for syncing with the PC and charging the device.

The latest addition to this bit comes from the freshly leaked image of the Nokia E6-00 which shows a live homescreen with four homescreen dots. This obviously implies that the device has a touchscreen interface, but whether it is VGA touch or something else isn’t too easy to confirm at this moment.

Reports also reveal that this could be the first QWERTY-based Nokia E Series phone to run Symbian^3 OS. Also, the device may boast a 628MHz ARM processor, which if true, would put it inline with its direct predecessor Nokia E5-00.

While MWC 2011 was speculated as Nokia’s preference for Nokia E6-00 launch, there was no sign of Nokia hitting the notes on this. The details cease to exist beyond this, however you can let your speculations run wild until we hit back with a post encasing more details. Stay tuned.
