Firefox For Android and Maemo Smartphones Now Available For Dowload! (As Beta Release)

Mozilla Firefox of Android Phones and Maemo-based N900 is now official and available for download albeit as a beta release. The Firefox beta for mobile phones is built on the same engine as desktop and is just optimized for mobile devices. 

Android Firefox app allows you to browse the internet from your Android smartphones easily with a desktop-browser like interface that allows tabbed browsing, pinch to zoom support, extensive responsiveness and meticulous touchscreen technology support. 

There’s also a password manager that stores the passwords to your frequently-visited sites and more. Other interesting features include location-aware browsing, support for adding a user desired search engine, better Javascript performance and even more. 

The same is claimed for Android phones. Firefox for mobile, also known as Firefox Fennec is compatible with Maemo-based Nokia N90 and Android Os 2.0 devices including HTC Desire, HTC Evo 4G, Nexus One, Droid 2, Desire Z, Droid Incredible, Droid X,, Motorola Milestone and Samsung Galaxy S smartphones.
