Apple’s iPad TV Commercial and HP Slate New Video – Both Look Good!
Each of us who are even remotely related to technology have at least had a glimps of the Apple’s upcoming tablet, iPad. Apple decided to show its creation to the movie buffs who haven’t seen the gadget yet during the Academy awards last night. Millions watched and (probably) loved it.
HP released a new video on its blog today which give us more insight on its upcoming flash-enabled tablet which will hit the market during the 3rd quarter this year. HP and Microsoft are leaving no stone unturn to stop or at least make people think twice before they spend on iPad.
Only time will tell which takes the market lead and which is left behind correcting its shortcomings!
Watch the following video to see both, Apple’s iPad and HP’s Slate in action!

Put me down for the iSlate. There's no way I'm giving in to the so called "in" thing. If I buy a device, it's for functionality, not some overpriced lump that makes me look "trendy" or "cool". I can do so much more on Windows 7 than a crappy stripped down version of OSX.

Totally agreed! However there are quite a few things iPhone and iPad might do easily which otherwise require a few extra clicks on Windows 7 tablets.
That said I am actually looking forward to Microsoft's Courier for its book-like design among other things!

I think each of the device has its own drawbacks. HP Slate supports Flash and AIR but runs vulnerable Win7 in other hand Apple iPad have no flash support but has much credible OS. Anyways you can also see this post: HP Slate boast Adobe AIR and Flash support hits iPad drawbacks
