- A warning message appears on the screen which should read “ Warning, all application data will be lost! Message service and other services will be turned off.”
- If you want to wipe out the third party apps as well, select the check box that appears just below to this message, otherwise, just proceed to next step.
- Click on ‘Continue’ to proceed with the reset or cancel if you were just going through the procedure.
- This causes the blackberry phone to reset to its factory (default) settings and it must take hardly 3 minutes to make it happen.
- It is natural for the device to display blank screen for a while or (and) restart itself after the factory settings have been restored.
