Who says only the Magic Mouse has multi-touch capabilities? Why do we keep forgetting that iPhone is powerful enough to pretty much do everything a smart developer wants it to do!
Well, we’ll leave the decision to the Superior Being but for now let us introduce you to – Logitech TouchMouse App for iPhone (and iPod Touch, of course).
I’ve used a few other Apps in the past which offered similar functionality however they dont come anywhere close to Logitech’s TouchMouse App when its comes to installation and using this appliation. All you got to do is download and install the “Server” application on your PC/Mac and install Logitech TouchMouse app on iPhone. Fireup the application on iPhone select the server and thats it!
The iPhone TouchMouse App from Logitech enables you to use the iPhone or iPod touch as a keyboard and a computer mouse with multi-touch support – the two finger scrolling thing. Yes, exactly the same way the Apple Magic Mouse does.
Plus, you get the liberty to choose from 2 button and 3 button multitouch trackpads and power to hide the on-screen keyboard at a tap.
Or, you can also use your iPhone or iPod touch as a wireless keyboard and type everything on an on-screen keyboard with control, alt, command/windows keys and it is instantly reflected on your computer screen.

Thanks Shahbaaz for pointing me towards this great app. A while ago I paid for the Mobile Air Mouse app and while it does have a pretty good track pad function, I found that it was a bit sluggish some times while this app does it perfectly. Great response time and and accuracy in a free app. A definite winner.

Logitech and Touch Mouse is amazing! It is now my #1 app for my iPhone. Wonderful integration of computer technology!

HippoRemote does everything this does and more, including being able to create macros (already has a large library of premade macros for popular apps)
