Sky Sports3D is here! I saw the amazing 3D displays at CES Las Vegas couple of weeks ago but the technology has made its way to the pubs and theaters near you already!

31st of January 2010 will go down in history as the day when sports fanatics experienced the first 3D game ever. Thanks to Sky Sports.

Sky became the first broadcaster ever to air the 3D match between Arsenal and Manchester United for the Football fanatics in London.  Sky picked several pubs across the city which was a closely guarded secret until the day of the match.

The event came as a surprise to quite a few pub goers who enjoyed seeing their favorite players in 3D.

BBC will broadcast another international Rugby match in 3D this weekend, however, fans have to flock the selected cinema houses to experience the 3D viewing.

While broadcasters are aggressively setting its audience up for the upcoming 3D material, 3D television manufacturers are trying to hit the market as soon as possible.

LG will be in market with their 3D televisions as early as April this year. Though the price tag on these televisions will be on the more expensive side, it is expected to drop as these televisions become common. We are expecting the prices to be much cheaper in the year 2011.

Watch the following video to see what viewers of this 3D match though about the 3D experience.
