Nokia X6 16GB Announced , Hitting the Stores New You this Quarter!

Nokia-X6-16GB-pink-1 Nokia X6 16GB. Yes, the blessed sibling of the original Nokia X6 with the same Nokia’s capacitive touch screen technology that music conscious phones like the very popular Nokia 5800 and others in the class missed was recently announced and it’s coming pretty soon.

Nokia already fine graded a standard for smart music phones with the launch of its original X6 model, the Nokia X6 32GB and now it’s seeing at a comfortable market with Nokia X6 16GB in its lap.

We knew this was coming, call it an instinct or an inference from the recent trim down of Nokia N97, the N97 mini.

This has nothing to do with the form factor, but briefly said the new tech specs and the fresh paint jobs are the ones that matter.

Nokia X6 16GB specs rhyme a lot with the Nokia X6 32GB. And so, you are looking at beautiful 3.2 inch widescreen with capacitive touch screen functionality, almost surfeit 5 megapixel Carl Zeiss optics camera with a dual LED flash, and a front facing VGA camera for video calls.

Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPRS, HSPDA 3G and micro USB port provide some connectivity options while the ARM 11 434MHz processor does the rest of the talk.

The one big notable difference in the Nokia X6 16GB (apart from its onboard storage) with respect to its elder sibling you’d say is that it doesn’t come preloaded with Music and you’ll have to do the honors yourself. Not a great deal.

It comes with Nokia’s latest Symbian OS i.e., Series 60 5^th edition v9.4 and brings in some of the best preloaded games like Spore by EA, Asphalt4 and DJ Mix Tour by Gameloft.

There is a flashTV-tout function so you can always feel comfortable to maximizing the fun on a larger display of your giant TV screen or home theatre.

Besides this, Nokia X6 16GB will dress up in four sparkling colors of your choice. Good enough if all black, all white, white with pink highlights and white with yellow highlights are the colors that you find racing your pulse.

You know that it’s GSM and 11.5 hours of talk time is good enough to impress you while 4.5 hours of video fun, standby time of 18 days or 35 hours of non-stop music playback is equally compelling, wouldn’t you say.

There is no word on what it’d be selling for but it is destined to hit the stores some good time this quarter.
