The 80 Port USB Board Questions Your Collection of Gadgets, Gets Mired In Criticism

The last time we introduced you to a 49 port USB hub, we were very much amazed that this giant USB port mothership would entertainment all the USB devices you own or perhaps more.

But, we ourselves did not have enough gadgets to throng the board all at once.

A strangely similar gadget has now surfaced from Thanko Labs and it has 80 USB ports for connecting almost anything that’s USB powered onto it. But, the sad thing is that the 80 port USB port is just a power multiplexer for your USB devices.

In simple terms, the 80 port USB board does nothing more than charging any USB devices that you connect to its ports arranged in an 8×10 matrix. So don’t expect it synchronize your iPod or mobile phones with the PC, ‘cause it CAN’T.

We appreciate that way Thanko worked over the 80 port USB Hub thing but it would have been better if the USB ports could serve the data transfer purposes as well and not just succumb to as a power supply for your USB devices.
