With the end of 2009 and start of 2010 each of us are looking forward to something or the other. One of the things all the Geeks are looking forward to is the newest gadget from Apple, iSlate or iGuide (whatever it’s called).

With every day that passes by someone in the geek community adds a little bit to the existing rumors about iSlate tablet. Few add to the rumors and few confirm the rumors. Though only Apple can confirm the rumors in this case there are others indirectly related to iSlate who have approved of these rumors.

Kaifu Lee made a statement on a Chinese micro blogging platform confirming the rumors of iSlate saying one of his contacts who worked on the project said, iSlate looks like a bigger version of iPhone and Apple expects to sell 10 million tablets in the first year of its launch.

Coming from Kai-Fu Lee, you simply cannot write them off as rumors. This confirms the existence and coming-soon rumors of iSlate. The event on 26th of Jan will bring the Tablet to light and put a date to its launch.

Just as it happened for iPhone, we can expect to see people queuing to get their hands on iSlate and the only difference will be that the queues will be much, much longer this time.
