Notion Ink, a firm dedicated at developing ‘innovative’ techie products has just teased its newest upcoming product , a sleek looking Android Touch Tablet, called as the Android SmartPad.
Oh, that’s not its official name but we’ll have to settle with it until they sort out something name for the naming ceremony.
Interestingly, everything about the device is equally noteworthy which makes perfect sense of us to predict its position among the best Android Tablets, once it is launched. Okay, here we go.
A few things about the device that may please you include a 3 megapixel autofocus camera that’s savored by a powerful NVIDIA Tegra T20 chipset under the hood, and it’s beautiful Pixel Qi Display.
This Android Tablet is the first device to use the 10.1 inch Pixel Qi Transflective Display, which means that the glassy scratch-resistant touch screen will boast super slim aerodynamics on a 1024×600 pix resolution and can be operated using a track pad or direct touch.

It (the Pixel Qi display) specializes in working as a color LCD in regular lighting while it’ll be completely readable even in the direct sunlight, just like the e-ink displays.
The Pixel Qi display of the device will be supporting 1080p Full HD video playback for that mesmerizing fun, you were waiting to experience on an Android Tablet.
The device comes in 16GB and 32GB of SSD storage versions, which can be augmented with a microSD card for more storage, if desired. Now, that’s a bit enough to carry some favorite songs, a bunch of movies or a host of office documents.

Android Tablets : Look Who’s Got The Edge!
Share a file over its Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR or drill into web using its Wi-Fi connectivity on its native browser. Besides this, the Android Multi touch tablet also embraces an A-GPS system, UMTS/HSDPA connectivity, an accelerometer sensor, a light sensor and a water sensor.
A USB port is inscribed in the frame to allow data exchange between the Android Smartpad and your PC or you may tour in a flash drive, or plug in an additional USB device for using it more conveniently and efficiently.
The rechargeable Li-on battery life powers the Android Tablet PC for 8hrs of HD video playback, 16hrs of internet surfing over WiFi and 14.8 hours on standby, which is quite impressive. Reportedly, the credit for the amazing battery life goes to the eight-core Tegra T20 chipset that hides under the hood.
This unnamed Android Smartpad will be on exhibit at the CES 2010 and will temporarily armor ‘regular Android UI’ with a Pixel Qi Display, a matte-finish anti-glare screen with scratch-resistant coating on the display.
The company is working on developing some Adnroid apps for the Android Tablet PC, while it is also in talks with some organizations for e-book reading capabilities on the Google Android device.
As of now, this is something interesting drilling its way into family of Multi touch Android Tablets. Furthermore, the wavering $300 price tag is enough attention-grabbing in contrast to its versatility.
That’s all for now. Stay tuned ’cause we’ll hit back with an update ASAP.
