UStream iPhone App Does Live Video Broadcast And Video Streaming, Now Up For Download!

With 100,000 applications on AppStore you’d think iPhone can do almost anything and you wouldn’t be entirely wrong in thinking so. iPhone make things possible that you never thought a phone could do. ONE simple thing it couldn’t do was broadcast live videos, but now it can, thanks to USTREAM.tv

The Ustream app for iPhone not only lets you stream live videos on iPhone from Ustream but it also lets you broadcast your own onto the website. Yes, you can record your own videos and upload it on the Facebook, Twitter, Youtube or even broadcast it on Ustream.

All you’ll need is an iPhone, the Ustream app, and either Wi-Fi or 3G connection to broadcast or get some online video streaming on your device. Watch everything you uploaded on UStream using your iPhone.

There is also a record mode which is useful when you are recording video from your phone unlike directly broadcasting it. The recorded videos are directly stored to your Ustream online library which can be later broadcasted or uploaded on social networking sites.

The application is designed for video recording capable iPhones i.e. the iPhone 3G and 3GS models running iPhone OS 3.1 or above. The application can be downloaded from here (iTunes link).

To use Ustream on your iPhone, you must -

1. Login to the Ustream website or register an account if you don’t have one.

2. Use 3G or Wi-Fi connectivity to connect with the site.

3. Begin streaming videos.
