‘Nook’ Shipping Delayed For A While, Suggests Market For Amazon Kindle!
![]() |
Your wait for the Nook is just NOT over. Remember the Barnes and Noble ebook reader (‘Nook’) that we reported recently? Yes, the one with an E Ink® user-friendly color touch display which was supposed to ship starting from Nov 30 has now been unexpectedly delayed to 11th of Dec this year.
Well, that’s a sort of bad news for all those Nook admirers who were expecting the Barnes & Noble child to land at their door steps at the earliest. Presumably, the Barnes and Noble ebook reader is scheduled to retail starting from Dec 7th. However, the image tagged on the official Nook website suggests that it will ship starting 11th Dec ‘09.
Well this is not a “if you wait for too long, it’ll go gone” thing. Perhaps, the rising demand for the Nook ebook reader has overshadowed the production statistics which probably justifies the wait.
Seems like the Amazon Kindle just got luckier by a few days. But, would you forego the world’s advanced ebook reader for relatively less tech savvy Amazon Kindle for the wait. We would never suggest that ‘cause “a little patience will do no harm”.
