The Nokia N97 sibling –Nokia N97 Mini that you have been deliberately waiting for has now hit the stores. The Nokia N97 Mini is an abstracted version of the original Nokia N97, which Nokia says, has sold almost 2 million units till date.

The Nokia N97 mini features a 3.2” slide-out QVGA display with resistive touch screen capability which is paired with an orientation and proximity sensor. Beneath the appealing sharp display is a seemingly spacious QWERTY keyboard at your disposal for typing emails or messages and getting handy with the web.

On its back rests a powerful 5MP auto-focus camera with Carl-Zeiss optical lens and up to 14X digital zoom which is accompanied by a dual LED flash, while the secondary camera on the face of the Nokia N97 mini encourages video calls.

It has 8GB internal memory besides support for up to 16GB of hot-swappable memory using a microSD card to store the fantastic world of music, images and movies on it.

An integrated A-GPS system, compass and Nokia Maps will together help you find your way out through the busiest of the streets. A full web browser with RSS feed support and online music streaming, emails, weather updates and everything from the web should keep you connected to the world, 24X7.

For quick access to various applications, the Nokia N97 provides one-touch buttons for controlling the volume bar and to do some action with the camera. Ah yes, the most important thing, it’s got a fully customizable homescreen with live widgets support.
