blackberry-watch-cbRIM’s Blackberry smart phone just got a pulse-hugging companion and surprisingly it’s not developed by RIM, just in case you were expecting. Rather, this Blackberry watch rightly named Inpulse (pictured below), is a product of Allerta.

Well, this one is just about to race your pulse rate. Look at it. No, you are not seeing any watch phone here. It’s actually a watch that syncs with your Blackberry smartphone and is designed to bring more comfort in using your Blackberry.

The InPulse Blackberry watch is a beautiful piece of technology that brings incoming call and text alerts on the watch straight from your blackberry. This requires you to pair your Blackberry phone with the Blackberry watch using Bluetooth and there you go, the watch becomes a dashboard for your Blackberry phone.

inPulse is the perfect BlackBerry smartphone accessory – it’s a watch which connects wirelessly to your phone by BlueTooth®, alerting you instantly to incoming emails, SMS and calls. inPulse extends the functionality of your BlackBerry smartphone, so when you’re in a pinch you can check your inPulse instead of fumbling around with your phone.

We thought of projecting some official technical specifications, just in case if you’ve fallen to this technological beauty. Here we go.

The InPulse Blackberry watch features a 1.3” OLED display, a vibrating motor to alert you of any incoming texts or calls and Bluetooth v2.0 + EDR to pair itself with you Blackberry (a BlackBerry running OS 4.3 or above) using the free application it is bundled with.

It has a steel body with glass lens, customizable wristband and is built with a Micro USB port for charging the watch. This watch can keep going without power supplements for almost four days after a complete battery recharge, which is just quite good.

Although, this Blackberry watch will not be able to compose texts or make calls, it sure is a very handy tool to update you about incoming calls and texts in a glance without having to dive your hands into your pockets.

Ah yes, you don’t have to meddle with the controls of the watch for doing petty things like changing the time or setting up or erasing a remainder or calendar  entry, as you can do it more comfortably even from the Blackberry itself.

If you don’t want to fumble for your Blackberry in your pockets and saves your deliberate attempts to undress its protective cover for reading a text or email header, $150 shouldn’t be too much green to part from your savings or monthly budget.  After all, style comes at expense and is one certain reason to keep you honored, with Blackberry.

Is this what people call the ‘beauty and brains’ thing? Sort of. We’ll wait to find out when it hits the streets in February 2010. For now, you can click here to preorder this and extend your line up of cool blackberry accessories.
