The SanDisk Sansa® Clip+ Review: Seems Candidly Feature Rich, Compact.

SanDisk recently launched a successor to its highly popular SanDisk Sansa Clip. It is known as SanDisk Sansa Clip+. Take a look at its surprisingly-loaded features and you will know why the + entailed with the product name is no misnomer.

SanDisk Sansa Clip+ sports the same design as its elder sibling, looks compact and has sturdy built and feel. The SanDisk mp3 player is overcharged with features that seem to outgrow its compact and tiny build.

It’s an attractive bar shaped mp3 player with basic media player buttons on its face and a small monochrome display. A pair of volume rockers on the side, an inbuilt mic, and MicroSD card slots populate the sides of the player.

The back of the Sandisk Mp3 Player is saturated with an in built belt clip that lets you go handsfree with the device while going out for a jog or drive. So, you don’t have to be afraid of accidentally dropping it from your pockets.

The MicroSD card is a smart new addition into the Sandisk mp3 players family and allows you to directly play audio tracks from the microSD slot. Not to mention, this also sums up the inbuilt flash storage, something for which Sandisk is globally democratic.

The user interface is quite simple and has dedicated menus for microSDHC™ cards ,slotRadio™ or slotMusic™ cards. It supports most music subscriptions, plays audio books and podcasts as well.

Voice recording through inbuilt mic, an FM tuner with auto scan mode with up to 40 preset slots, and the ability to directly update itself to online radio stations, known as Rhapsody DNA, are among other interesting features.

An included USB cable can be used for charging the device and data transfer. It is compatible with Windows® XP SP2, Linux or Mac OS® X 10.3 (Mass Storage Class Only). And yes, the memory cards listed above are optional accessories and ought to be bought separately, if desired.

The SanDisk Sansa Clip+ is available in 2GB, 4GB, and 8GB memory variants for $39.99, $49.99, and $69.99, respectively in blue, black and red colors. All of these mp3 players run you through music for up to 15hrs playback time.
