It’s simply fascinating to see what people can come up with given the right support and tools. www.2gov.org which was recently launched on Twitter aims at channeling opinions and suggestions on important issues to the people who can make the difference on our behalf.

2gov.org is the brain child of David Binetti who played an important role in establishing USA.gov.

Its open for all and all it takes, is simple Tweet once you are registered with www.2gov.org! If you have anything to say about what happening in the country, for example “Health Care”, simply tweet your thoughts with @2gov attached to it.

These tweets are captured and filtered based on the issue and location of the person, a report is generated and sent to their local elected official. The latest report from @2gov had “StartupVisa” written all over itself.

As seen in the report close to 3000 Tweets from 44 states were received. Given the fact that this service is just about a month old, the future looks promising.
