I generally keep way form anything that exposes my lack of singing talent and that’s what I did with one of the iPhone applications (I Am T-Pain) which clearly is one of the best iPhone Applications of 2009.

This application auto-tunes your voice to make it sound better and more musical, watch the video below to know what I mean. I Am T-Pain was released last month and has been riding high on charts ever since. I confess, I hesitantly decided to give this application a try as we were requested to review this app, and guess what? I am glad I did!

I Am T-Pain is FUN, amazing FUN, FUN beyond imagination! I used this application for hours together and kept listening to my recordings and thinking “Can it get any worse? Let me try again!!!”.

So here is how it works. Install and run I Am T-Pain app on iPhone, put your headphones with mic on for best results, then either select freestyle without music or select a song from “Beats” to sing along. Once you are done with the recording hit the “save” icon on the top of the screen and save the recording or share it on Facebook, Myspace or simply share the link in an e-mail.

I Am T-Pain is currently running a contest where the winner is awarded $5000 and a “Big Ass Chain” and 10 finalists will win $500 and a set of Grillz.

Create a video and uploaded it on Youtube to enter the contest. Winners will be announced every week and the information will be posted here.
