Microsoft Security Essentials – Free Antivirus for Windows 7, Vista and Other Windows Based OS!
One of the things that are synonymous with Windows based OS is the term VIRUS which is a big worry for the company. While I use to support MS products I remember how thousands of users called in for support against MS Blaster Worm back in 2004-2005 and most of them were disappointed in Microsoft for not being able to keep up with such attacks.
Well, that was then and we’ve seen many such attacks since and my guess is, there is no stopping of these attacks anytime (soon).
To tackle this problem and stop Windows 7 and other Windows OS from getting a bad name because of someone else’s evil mind, Microsoft recently launched “Microsoft Security Essentials”. Security Essentials is real time anti-virus and anti-malware software which protects your system from such attacks.
The best part is that this anti-virus is absolutely free, no upgrades, no renewals, no registrations or anything is required. The only condition it bothers about is whether the user is running a Genuine copy of Windows or not!
The software is available in 8 languages across 19 countries and can be downloaded from here.
Now this certainly gives Symantec, Kaspersky, Trend Micro, etc… to think about something.
