You can convert youtube video files downloaded to your pc using VIDEORA, which is free, and no watermarks, and also faster than Real player sp converter, however, as far as I have tested it out, it makes you either select a folder for it to monitor for new files to convert, or you must select each one, one at a time, and go through an annoying process of selecting the file, choosing where you want the converted file to end up, and optional to rename it, then select the quality of audio/video, then press convert.... if you do it for a TV series of 170 episodes... GOOD GOD.

But if you are new at this converting thing, this it the BEST tutor available, as it walks you through step by step, and it explains in the upper screen what each step is about... so like "OUTPUT", "SOURCE"....

Speed wise, it is fast, converting a file using VIDEORA versus Real player is about 3 minutes for a 350mb file compared to about 35 minutes for real player going from avi to mp4.

give it a try. not as user friendly once you get the hang of it, but it does convert flv. very clear audio and video results too.

same with me, I try 2 convert a flv video which I have downloaded WITH realplayer but it says I require a flash player download which I already have installed. I tried reinstalling flash again and again but the same message appears. This is very annoying and pointless as there clearly seems to be a fault with the software or compatibilty issues.

I love the RealPlayer SP converter, but there is one problem. When I download videos, they are automatically .flv. And when I try to convert videos, it says I need Flash Player. But I have it! And I've repeatedly (more than 10 times) installed, restarted, uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted, used REVO uninstall, and then reinstalled and restarted. It says it need s the file Flash.ocx when Windows comes up with a solution. I have Vista Basic by the way. And flash.ocx is an active x file . I don't know if any of that information helps, but I would like a suggestion to fix this. Thank you!
