Wibiya: One of the Best and Most Sensible Toolbars for Blogs and Bloggers (Get Invites Here!)
![]() |
Finding the right tools and plugins to enhance a blog is not an easy thing to do especially when there are hundreds and thousands of tools available out there.
The key to finding the right solution always lays in knowing what your readers what, help them discover more on the blog and make simple tasks like sharing, discussing, etc.. even more easier.
I recently found a service which does just that and much more. Wibiya, offers a variety of sensible enhancements for blogs through their toolbar. I’ve recently installed the plugin and I am already a happy user.
Adding Wibiya to a blog is a 3 steps process, 1) Add applications to the toolbar, 2) Select Toolbar Theme and 3) Install on Blog! I really cannot think of a simpler process for adding great functionality to a blog.

The toolbar adds functionality like Site/Web Search, Translation, Recent Posts, Subscribe to RSS, Share over Social sites like Twitter, Facebook, Digg, etc.., Facebook Fan Page, Twitter Console, Notification, Games and much more..
So far I’ve used almost all the applications available on Wibiya except the Games application which is newly launched, I think it’s more for personal blogs than a technology blog.
Once installed bloggers can monitor the toolbar activity using Wibiya dashboard which shows how if the toolbar is being used and for what?
Though the dashboard shows the number of times users have clicked on toolbar links and share the articles, I’d like to see more of analytical data which shows which links were tweeted, what pages where translated, which articles were shared, Keywords on Website search, etc..

Over a brief conversation on e-mails with Dror, Wibiya’s CEO and Co-founder he mentioned that the services that are offered on Wibiya are just about 10% of what they intend to offer in the near future. I am certainly looking forward to more innovative features and products from Wibiya.
As Wibiya is still running in closed beta, Dror, was kind enough to offer TNerd readers priority approval on new signups. TNerd readers can sign in by suffixing “TNERD” to their names (i.e Syed Abbas – TNERD) on the application form to get an early invite.

I think the toolbar adds a great deal of value to the blog without being invasive for the readers.
So all the bloggers out there, personal or professional get Wibiya on your site before others get it! Click here to signup.
