hcwlogo_us Honey, they have shrunk the kids! Okay, it’s not just kids, we’ve seen PCs, the USB flash drives, multimedia projectors shrink to unbelievable sizes and now after almost everything else, it’s the turn of TV Tuner.

Recently, we reported about picodrive’s 32GB flash drive which did not invite anything but galvanized and speechless gazes from onlookers and seemingly bounded market of geeky buyers.

Honestly, if you take a look at the pic below, I did not expect an external TV Tuner device to get this small, of course what forces me to believe is the existence of nano technology and belief in the fact that technology is advancing and expanding in all explorable dimensions whilst shrinking in size.

Hauppage has launched a USB TV Tuner device that connects to your laptop or PC through the USB port. Officially, it is the world’s smallest USB Digital TV tuner . While we do not have accurate scale of its dimensions, we’ll go by Hauppage’s word.

This USB TV Tuner does not require any external antenna but still comes with one in case you’re “stuck in the middle of Wales” . So, the complete thing is just some 150% of the size of the SIM card( as it seems to me from the pic).

The Picostick USB Digital TV Tuner is designed to be extremely portable but obviously needs extra care to handling, should you happen to lose it into your knee deep pockets or if it just slips under the back of the sofa or the narrow slit under your keyboard.
