The WoW Effect – Creative Releases World of WarCraft Sound Blaster Advanced Headsets!

Gaming isn’t just playing to wind off. The soul of the gaming pleasures is the sound of the game. Boom! Bang. Screech!  So, what’s gaming without that entertaining sound? It might be a favorite pass time for some while a passion sport for others and the latter one, as I see, is more justifiable.

I’ve seen gamers who are so passionate about the games they play, that they usually show off their love for the game by flaunting favorite T-Shirts, Hats, Key chains, cut-out Stickers and many such other accessories.

CREATIVE_BLACKWhen you think of sound, the next thing (the first one for me is Bose) that should click in your head is “Creative”,  the worldwide leader in digital entertainment. Creative is getting innovative here.It has a tie up with Blizzard to launch the special edition Creative Sound Blaster World of Warcraft headphones.

This came as a wise move after the huge success of the company’s highly acclaimed sound cards. Creative is using the same technology for a fabulous sound experience in the disguise of World of Warcraft headphones.   And, this is not just any creative headset. It is a WoW headset with special enticing features.

Wow Creative!

Creative claims that these are packed with the “most advanced ‘virtual’ 3D surround sound” available in the market yet.

It connects to your system via a USB and is compatible with both Mac and PC. The reachargeable headset also features a detachable mic, which according to Creative, is the signature feature of all SoundBlaster headsets.

The World of Warcraft Headset were announced at Blizzard Entertainment’s BlizzCon gaming festival held last week in California, USA and will begin shipping in November.

These wonderful piece of headset will cost around $100 to $150 and will be available in both wired and wireless versions. So, are you ready for the boom? After all, it’s all about ‘sound’ gaming. Isn’t it?
