Microsoft Drops Xbox 360 ELITE Price by $100, Now Priced at $299!
Microsoft dropped $100 on its premium gaming console, Xbox 360 ELITE which is now priced at $299. After the price cuts we’ve seen with Playstation 3 Slim this move from Microsoft does not come as a surprise.
Xbox 360 Pro saw a price cut of $50 and is now priced at $249. All of the Xbox consoles users buy now are “Project Natal” compatible.
Economy is all set to make its worst impression on the Gaming industry this holiday season and the way prices on the gaming consoles are dropping clearly leaves us to think that the companies are preparing for the worst to come.
NDP recently reported 29% drop in the overall gaming industry where the hardware sales dropped by 37% to $280.94 million
The price cuts will certainly encourage the gamers to go for it but it will only benefit the ones who cut the prices early in the race.
With holiday season just around the corner, I won’t be surprised to see Nintendo Wii and other players in the gaming industry drop the prices for the holiday season at least.
All that said it’s the best time to treat yourself with the best in the gaming industry check out on the New Playstation 3 Slim and Microsofts Xbox 360 Consoles.
