WD Logo Western Digital, the second largest hard drive company (next to Seagate) has announced two new hard drives with impressively enormous storages – Scorpio Blue 750GB HDD and the Scorpio Blue 1TB HDD. Well, that came as a response to the incessantly growing need for larger storage in portable computers.

The largest storage capacity ever held by any laptop HDD was 500GB, which says that 1TB is a really good transition. Yes, 1 Trillion Bytes of Storage! (Pinch yourself. It’s really come). Gosh! Can you imagine it..? That amounts to over 10 average PC HDDs put together. It’s the highest capacity for any Laptop HDD while the largest desktop HDD available in the market right now is 2TB.
