Air Keyboard A Wireless keyboard from Cideko will soon make its entry into the market to simplify your entertainment experience. Well, can a keyboard do something to simplify things? The answer is much more than yes.

The Cideko Air Keyboard is an all in one gadget for your PC that works well as fully functional mini-QWERTY keyboard, a remote control for your TV and also features a built in 3D mouse.

The QWERTY keyboard is more or less identical to the standard keyboard of your PC in layout except that it appears relatively small and bears two shoulder buttons on the top as left and right mouse buttons, which will instantly remind you of your gamepad.

To enhance your entertainment experience and convenience, nine multimedia keys are spread across the length of the keyboard on the top. So, you can enjoy changing songs or pause and play the currently playing song right from the keyboard controls.

To use the device, you just need to plug in the dongle that comes with it to your system and you are done. No specific software / drivers are required. To use the mouse, just move the air keyboard in the air and this controls the cursor.

Furthermore, you can combine this gadget with the Air Sender from Cideko to view your PC display on the TV screen.

Yes, now that really an all-in-one gadget. What’s the advantage? First, it connects wirelessly through the compatible dongle which can sprawl wireless connectivity for about 50mts from the dongle on your device.

Secondly, both the mouse and the keyboard functions can be used simultaneously. The company has again proved that it goes ‘beyond digital’ for the fact that the connectivity will not collapse due to an obstruction such as a wall or your bookshelf.

You can still use your smart Air Keyboard to connect with your PC, even if you are in the kitchen and your system rests in the study, provided in falls in the specified range.

You can play your favorite games and entertain yourself with the multimedia content on your PC by sitting comfortably on your cozy Sofa and even use the keyboard to type your mails.

This Air Keyboard can also be combined with Air Sender from Cideko to view your PC display on the TV screen and the device then functions as a TV remote control.

It is powered by two AA batteries which will provide enough charge for using this gizmo for more than 50hrs.

The Air Keyboard was available for display at the Computex Trade Show 2009 (Taiwan) and will be compatible with Mac OS (v10.2) and higher and Microsoft Windows 98 onwards. However, official announcements for price and availability of this gadget are yet to surface.
