Stumbleupon LogoSu.Pr is a URL shortening service launched by one of my favorite social bookmarking service, Stumbleupon! (Add Tnerd on Stumbleupon)

DO NOT Mistake Su.pr as just another URL shortening service, it is not!

Su.pr not only lets you discover but also syndicate your content on Twitter and Facebook using just one tool. Besides its obvious functionality of shortening URLs, the service offers some interesting features like scheduling posts, see real-time click information, twitter related information and the best part, it actually lets you decide the best time to publish your content.

Su.pr is currently running in beta and is open on invite basis only! If you’d like to get an invite code start following @Stumbleupon ( and us @tnerd) on Twitter and wait for the instructions!

Anway, once you have the invite code and login, you got to configure your profile by adding the Facebook and Twitter account information Su.pr will be publishing to. Once done, you are all set to share the content with your friends on social sites.

The following image shows the submission area which lets you choose if you’d like to submit to Facebook or Twitter or both and even schedule it for later.

Submit to Su.Pr

Once submitted you can track the information in real-time. The image below shows the kind of information that can be tracked which includes, visits from StumbleUpOn community, reTweets, Reviews on Stumbleupon, number of clicks on Su.pr, etc..

Stats Su.Pr

We don’t know for sure if Su.pr URLs have similar issues as Digg’s short URL service but we will check on it and update this post as soon as we receive invites from StumbleUpOn!

Being a StumbleUpOn fan I am super excited of the launch!
