Google Doodle

Google announced 40 regional winners for National Doodle for Google competition opened last February. Google received about 28,000 entries which was narrowed down to 400 and now 40.

The voting is now open for the US (We the people) to choose the 4 national winners. Voting will be open till 18th of May and the results will be announced on 20th of May.

The competition has been divided into 4 Groups based on grades which give each of the participant’s equal opportunity to win regardless of their age and experience.

1 National winner will win $15,000 in college scholarship, trip to Google New York office, a T-shirt printed with their own Google Doodle and the winner’s school will get a $25,000 Technology grant to improve schools computer lab.

The best part of this competition is you get to see how aware are todays children about the events happening around them. You will notice that their creativity is a true reflection whats happening in our society.
