YouTube has the largest collection of music videos which simply makes it the largest music site on the internet.
We are starting to see utilities which make the best use of the media available on YouTube. The FireFox extension we are discussing today is one such example; it lets you download any YouTube video as MP3.
All you have to do is install the plugin and it will simply add a link to the video page on YouTube. Click on the link to download MP3, it takes you to the plugin site and lets you download the MP3 version of the video.
Following image shows how the link is embedded into every page on YouTube to download the MP3 format of the video.
Once you click on that link it takes you to the plugin site and offers the download in an MP3 format.
It can’t get any simpler than this can it? The only thing I’d like to see improve in the service is the time it takes to convert the video into an MP3.

I just don't get it. Why do someone need to save Video file as MP3 track? And even if it's music video it's always better to save it as Video. I suppose this addon has very limited use since there are so much Youtube video savers on the net.

I have tried different methods to download videos from youtube. I believe keepv is the best methods so far. You can download it here with no need to go to their website :
