5 Mood-Based Music Players – Love, Angry, Sad, Happy, Play Whatever Your Mood!

MusicMusic has no language but it can be tagged and categorized in multiple ways. We are use to listening to music based on Artist, Genre, Album, etc.. One of the better ways of categorizing music is based on mood. Mostly we tend to listen to music when we are in a particular frame of mind.

I sometimes skip my favorite songs and listen to others that’s because I might not be in the right mood. So the best way to listen to music is based on moods like Happy, Sad, Love, Hate, Angry, Calm, Confused, etc..

Following tools which include Software (Web and PC based) and Hardware help you organize and listen to music based on moods.

Musicovery is one of the most popular free music players online which playing music based on the selected mood.

All you got to do is click in the area marked Dark, Calm, Positive and Energetic. Once clicked, the player starts to play music, no registration required. If you like the song you can immediately buy it from Amazon, Ebay or iTunes.

is another free online music player which offers similar service with a LOT more moods on the “MoodMaker”.

Go to the advance search options on the site and click on “MoodMaker” once you are there all you got to do is select the mood, genre and era to listen to the songs based on your mood.

is probably the easiest of them all, simply visit the page and click on one of the 8 moods and start listening to the free music online right-away. Click here to start listening.

You can also download the Toolbar for IE and Firefox and just click on the moods on the bar to start listening to music. However, listening from toolbar requires you to be a registered member of YouLicense.com.

from Crayonroom is another service which based on moods. Well this service does not define moods in simple words but with a colorful grid.

Here is the online player, just click on a color and start listening to songs.

also offers a plugin which works with your iTunes to organize your songs based on moods. You either manually add moods to each of the songs or just download the tags from the site which tags your songs automatically.

The windows version of the plugin is still in early beta and did not work quite well, however, you can test it out yourself.

MoodSeerMoodseer is a hardware based solution which does not come cheap. It stores up to 1.5 terabyte of music and can pump music up wirelessly in each of the rooms.

lets you tag your songs as "relax", "be together", "be inspired" and "romance" moods. It is not only capable of storing, tagging and playing songs it can also record upto 3 programs, rewind live Tv, Play home movies, etc..
