iPhone Apps for Sharing, Viewing, E-mailing Important Files and Documents!

Having access to important files and information at all times is not too much to ask for. There are a number of iPhone applications which let you store important files on iPhone or iPod touch to be accessed from anywhere. These softwares also help you connect to the online accounts where documents are stored.

Following are few of the most popular applications used for Organizing, Sharing, Viewing and Transferring files.

SplashData recently released version 2.0 of its popular file manager called File Magic for iPhone and iPod Touch.

This software converts an iPhone or an iPod touch into a flash drive, any file can be copied from the computer to iPhone and the other way round.

The update ads three new features which lets the users 1) Send files from one iPhone to another iPhone, 2) Email files as attachments from File Magic on your iPhone, 3) Password protect access in file magic.

Olive Toast offers a similar solution but it’s limited to certain file types. It supports all the Microsoft Office documents including office 2007 formats and PDF files; it also supports iWorks documents (iWorks09 is not supported yet). Audio, Video and Images that are supported by the iPhone OS can be played on our device.

Free version of this application limits the storage capacity to 200MB; full version of this application costs $6.99 and has no storage restrictions.

QuickOffice offers MobileFiles 2.0 with similar functionality of file sharing and viewing. Files can be shared between two iPhones or iPod touch or from MAC and PC over WiFi.

With MobileFiles users can access MobileMe iDisk, it covers a large number of file formats including Microsoft Office, iWorks, MP3’s, Web Pages, Web Archives (.mht) and other PDF files.
