Cookie-Sized Computers Called Siftables will Change the Way we Play with Technology!
Technology has already taken over our lives, this stands true for most of us. Now we are nearing an era where we will see and use gadgets the way we never thought was possible.
Siftables is a perfect example of how technology can be simplified and used in the most innovative way than ever. Siftables are small cubes of intelligent technology loaded with computer like features.
“Siftables are cookie-sized computers with motion sensing, neighbor detection, graphical display, and wireless communication. They act in concert to form a single interface: users physically manipulate them – piling, grouping, sorting – to interact with digital information and media. Siftables provides a new platform on which to implement tangible, visual and mobile applications.”
Siftables is a product of Jeevan Kalanithi, David Merrill and MIT Media Lab efforts and will soon be available in the market.

Siftables could be put to good use for kids in school or will be a hit with Scramble fans (it remains to be seen). As it is built on the real computer technology I am hoping it will allow custom programs to be installed on it which will make it even more interesting and innovative. What do you think?
