5 Apps for Taking Screenshots on (Almost) Any Mobile Phone!
With mobiles becoming so important in our day to day lives, we what to share what are mobiles and mobile applications are capable of doing.
This is where Screen recording software’s for mobile come in. I am sure many of you have used screen recording software’s on your PC’s but not many know how to do the same on the mobile phone.
The following list of softwares will let you take screenshots off your Blackberry, iPhone (built-in), Nokia, Sony, Motorola, etc.. These softwares are capable of running on Android, Symbian, Windows Mobile, etc platforms which pretty much covers all the mobile phones in the market.
As Symbian OS runs on majority of the mobile handsets let’s look at a software which does the trick on Symbian loaded phones.

From the same developer comes “Screenshot” for Symbian OS (UIQ 2.x) which can be installed on Sony Ericsson (P900, P908, P910, P910i) and Motorola phones (A920, A925).

CaptureIt: Capture it is a wonderful screen capturing software designed for Blackberry devices running 4.3 OS or higher.
This is better than the other available screen capturing softwares as it does not required you to connect the blackberry device to a computer to capture screens on Blackberry.

SPB Screenshot application works on Windows mobiles. This application was initially part of SBP Imageer application which was not free but now it can be downloaded separately and free to be used on your windows mobile phones.

Android Screenshot is another application that takes screenshots on Android platform which is pretty much G1 for now. A user has to have root access on the phone to run this application error free. Download the application from here and here for instructions to gain root access on Android.

Screen Capture on iPhone is built-in feature on firmware 2.0 and above. Here is how you can take screenshots.
Hold the "home" button, then hit the "power/sleep" button, and presto, a capture of your screen is in your photos. This doesn’t work in the 1.1.4 or earlier versions, so you’ll need to upgrade, but chances are you already have. [link]
