I am in the process of downloading the 2.44 gigabyte ISO from Microsoft's Web site right now. I did not have any trouble starting the download in Firefox 3.0.5 on Linux Mint 6.

I wonder if the download issue in Firefox is fixed, or if it's just relegated to Windows versions of FF?

Anyway - thanks for the information. I was trying to find out how big the ISO download was before I started, as I have a monthly bandwidth limit from my ISP. Thank you for providing that.

Its not just you. All of microsoft downloads are working only with IE. Its just like Windows Update does not work with firefox. But only sad thing is that the Beta is only till August. I would appreciate it if MS gives it off free for people who have tested it. As for what the critics say, its just an improvement over Vista and should have been given as a service pack ;)

Yeah, I guess that 486 Dell Optiplex they set up as a server to "handle the load" just couldn't deal with more than 3 connections at a time.
