uTorrent for Mac: Now the world has more to share

P2P is a great way of sharing things. However, the legality and morality of sharing copyright material has been a never ending debate. Amidst all this the P2P networks and softwares enabling P2P continue to become more and more popular. As a result of this popularity the developers of uTorrent have released a version for Apple. Version 0.9 Beta of uTorrent is available for download from the official website.

Because it’s still in Beta, it’s a good idea for normal users to wait for a final release. You might not want to have system problems because of some bugs in the beta release. From the news that I’ve been reading, not all the features of Windows version of uTorrent are available in the version for Apple. The Mac users are already requesting for features and most important among them are:

a scheduler,
auto shutdown
the ability to change the queue order

This version of uTorrent is only supported Leopard Intel Macintosh computers. The developers are keen on releasing version for PowerPc/Tiger version..
