Gmail get’s make-up: Themes the new feature of Gmail!
Seems like the morning is quite colorful. As I was reading some of the news feeds, I found that people are talking about Gmail’s themes. No, I still don’t have this active in my Gmail, but there are users who have got this feature. Earlier if you were to theme your Gmail interface you were to use greasemonkey and some scripts, but it looks like Google has made themes the native feature of Gmail.
With 30 themes, you’ll have plenty of options to choose from and I am sure they will grow. May be google might even release the API to allow third party themes.
Keep your fingers crossed because you are gonna get your hands soon on these babies. You’ll be able to change the themes from within the settings. keep watching that section of Gmail

This is something that I can only say "about freakin time!"
To me only about 30% of the themes are usable so I hope they make an API as I'm much rather design my own.
I also hope they make more of their services have themes like Reader, Calendar, etc. I use GreaseMonkey scripts for those so it would be nice to have native themes for all Google services.
