Same issue as mags from Feb 9, 2009. My iPod already had several songs in it, I started up WinAmp 5.56 and put in an additional 2 files, but now there is no more music viewable !! Any hint ?

Hi! I was able to transfer songs from winamp to my ipod. However, when the ipod was no longer connected to winamp, it could not display/play the songs I have just transferred from winamp.It shows "no music" but when I check its contents in winamp, the songs are all there. I can also tell that the songs were transferred because they took up much of my ipod's storage/capacity. Have you encountered anything like this when you use winamp in managing your ipod?

You're a god sent. I've been looking for a solid way to manage my gf's ipod for a while now and I've been using winamp for a fair bit and love it.

I'm glad I can uninstall iTunes for good now.

This is great info... I dont know how, but only yesterday evening, i was hoping to find a solution to get all the songs on my Ipod to my desktop. Since itunes does not allow you to copy the songs on to your PC, i was hoping to download some software that would help me transfer the same( copypod etc). Thanks for this wonderful tip, you saved me a lot of time, since i have the latest version of winamp on my PC.
