If you use Windows Vista, then you can download the CricInfo gadget for Windows Vista side bar. It looks something like this:

Google Desktop widgets are another great ways of keeping track of live cricket scores. If you don’t have Google Desktop Search, you can get it here. After installing Google Desktop Search you’ll have to enable the sidebar.

You can now add various widgets, including the one’s for cricket. All you have to do is click the + on top of the google desktop sidebar and search for cricket in the search box. From the list of all the widgets, choose the one that best suits your requirements.

I am using the one by CricInfo.
