Much awaited version of Ubuntu code named is finally released. is one of the most popular distro of Linux. There’s a large community that supports the development of Ubuntu.

Ubuntu is a community developed, Linux-based operating system that is perfect for laptops, desktops and servers. It contains all the applications you need – a web browser, presentation, document and spreadsheet software, instant messaging and much more.

I have been using RC for sometime now and haven’t faced any problems. The hardware support is just exceptional. However, you might wannt check the release note of before upgrading or installing.
