    Tried to install the repositories for APPNR. This is the second time I have followed your instructions and they do not work for me. The second line of your command to enable Medibuntu comes up "syntax error near unexpected token &
    The command for google comes up command not found. I like your articles but the instructions are not working for me

    Sorry Chris. My bad. I used a tag that changed the command. Could you please try the following commands. I'll also change them in the post.

    sudo wget http://www.medibuntu.org/sources.list.d/hardy.list -O /etc/apt/sources.list.d/medibuntu.list

    sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install medibuntu-keyring && sudo apt-get update

    For the Google and Canonical Partner repositories

    wget -q -O - https://dl-ssl.google.com/linux/linux_signing_key.pub | sudo apt-key add -
    sudo apt-get update

    Let me know if you face the problem again with this one.

    Sorry to write again. In case it doesn't work, try adding the following lines in your sources list. To open sources list execute following in a terminal.

    sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

    And at the end add of the file add

    deb http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu intrepid partner
    deb-src http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu intrepid partner

    deb http://dl.google.com/linux/deb/ stable non-free

    let me know if you have further problems!

    If you liked the idea, you might want to give allmyapps a try too... Like appnr, we want to make application searching and installing easier for users with absolutely no linux knowledge and so we try to focus a lot on utilisability. The site is pretty new (launched around 2 weeks ago) but we're already looking for feedbacks to choose which area we should improve first :)
